We are a full-service restoration shop offering high-quality parts, remarkable restorations, performance upgrades, LS Conversion, Coyote Conversion, and qualified technical support. We take pride in every project, whether it’s a full frame-off restoration, partial restoration, or performance upgrade.  

Tim Duvall, the owner of Visions Restorations, LLC, had been restoring classic vehicles for over 30 years, working on vehicles for family and friends out of his home’s 3-car garage. Business kept growing through word of mouth, until finally, he took the big step of opening ‘the shop’ in New Haven, Missouri’s business district in 2021, which included building a talented crew as well. And he’s never looked back. 

Visions’ skilled team of experts, including two certified MIG welders, hold themselves to the highest standard of work. Attention to detail, fit and finish – nothing is overlooked.  That includes using the right tools and equipment for each project.

Frame Off Restoration (aKA Frame Up Restoration)

We remove the entire car body from the frame. By disassembling this way, we can strip the frame’s finish, inspect for damage, broken welds, rust, etc., and address any issues before refinishing the frame with primer and paint, ensuring your classic car will be in top condition for decades to come. Partial Restoration (AKA Frame On Restoration)

Many classic car aficionados aren’t looking to compete in car shows, but still want their vehicles to look and run great. We offer engine restoration as well as body work. From removing old paint to fabricating replacement metal to painting, we can have your classic car looking and performing like it did when it was new – maybe better! See more.

Custom Chassis Work – Design

We can customize the ideal chassis for your classic car or truck, providing the perfect ‘backbone’ for your build. Ride height, wheel base, ground clearance – it all matters. The frame is then fixture-welded for proper alignment of suspension components. See more.

Bodywork & Paint

Whether your classic car needs a fresh coat of paint, or some serious damage repair, Visions Restorations can help. We use Mittler Bros. Machine and Tool equipment, including a 48” English Wheel and hydraulic tube bender to fabricate metal replacement pieces as needed.
Our semi-down-draft paint booth allows us to achieve a top-quality finish for paint application. We can custom blend paint colors and offer consultation for finished color combinations. See more

We can improve your vehicle’s performance and appearance with an LS or Coyote swap. Because sometimes you want more horses under the hood. See more.

Performance Engines

Custom Tube Bending

We offer a wide variety of tube and pipe bending services to create the custom finish for restoration and modification projects.  

TIG & MIG Welding

Tim Duvall, Visions’ founder and owner, is a certified welder and former CAD/CAM designer/programmer machinist. He is one of two certified welders on staff who perform TIG or MIG welding based on the needs of the restoration build. See more.
 

Bead Roller

Using a bead roller allows us to create new panels that look like existing panels – basically recreating factory beads and rolls, maintaining the integrity of the classic car. We can add those finishing touches in floor panels, firewalls, engine covers – just about anything the customer wants. Also, using the bead roller can add strength to panels during fabrication without adding additional weight. 

Sheet Metal Brake

Our metalworking machine allows us to create precision bends, creases, and more elaborate box-and-pan shapes as part of our fabrication services. 

English Wheel

Our Mittler Bros. English Wheel allows us to form compound curvatures from flat steel sheets to create custom and exact panels. Wheeling provides a smooth, consistent finished product.  
 

Planishing Hammer

The planishing hammer helps smooth out dents, dings, and divots, and can stretch and shape metal by providing rapid-fire, precision-pressure strikes as the fabricator moves the sheet of metal between the hammer and the form. 

Shrinker/ Stretcher

Our shrinker/stretcher machines create radius bends and contours in the metal for door panel edging and body trim work.  
 

Power Hammer

Another powerful machine in our metal-shaping arsenal is the power hammer. It has a durable steel base and provides the horsepower needed for our busy automotive restoration shop.  

Semi-Downdraft Paint Booth (standard Tools)

the semi-downdraft feature of our paint booth allows for reduced overspray and finish contamination control, providing a cleaner environment and improving the quality of the finished application.  

Rotisserie

The automotive rotisserie allows us to work on restoration projects safely and efficiently from all angles. It’s a must-have for many frame-off restoration projects.

Axle Fixtures

Many hot rodders want to customize their vehicles with certain aesthetics in mind. That includes narrowing the rear end to fit a bigger tire under the rear end because we’re increasing the horsepower. And let’s face it, it looks awesome.  
 
We offer fixtures for 10 bolt, 12 bolt, and Ford 9 inch.
